The SJSU x NeuroSky Hackathon is a unique opportunity for San Jose State University students across the arts, humanities and the sciences to engage with cutting edge technology – a mobile EEG brainwave sensor – in a competitive hackathon.
The Learning and Games Consortium (LGC), in collaboration with NeuroSky Inc., a San Jose-based sensor technology company is sponsoring the hackathon – a 24 hour technology jam where students create innovative projects under tight deadlines using computers, software, and brainwave sensor technologies.
The team which hacks together the best project as judged by industry experts and academics from SJSU and Neurosky will win a Neurosky Mindwave mobile headset.
The event provides access and opportunities for students to experiment with emerging technologies, while encouraging innovation, entrepreneurship and interdisciplinary interaction in a fun, creative, and challenging environment.
Signups can begin on Tuesday at the NeuroSky table at MacQuarrie Hall and can happen at any of the confirmed events with Johnny next week, including Game Dev Club!
